| If you're like me, then when it
comes to building a business relationship with someone it all boils
down to trust. Words, even on paper, mean little in today's
time. I have to know someone before I can trust
them with major concerns in my life such as buying or selling real
estate. Hopefully, after reading a little about me, you'll feel more
confident that I'm someone you can trust with those decisions and
want to create a business relationship with me.
I was born and raised here in Mayfield, KY and
graduated from Mayfield High School in 1987. In September of 1994 I
married Deena Ann Dodson from Metropolis, Il. and we now have 3
wonderful children. My stepson Dylan is 17, my daughter
Danielle is 11, and my son Tyler is 8.
I am involved heavily in the community by
volunteering my time where possible. I currently serve as the
Chairman for the Code Enforcement Board of the City of Mayfield. I
am on the Board of Directors for the Lions Club and the Child
Advocacy Program of Mayfield. I also serve on the Planning
Committee for the Mayfield Independent School System and attend
church at His House here in Mayfield. Most all of my family
resides here in Mayfield, including both my Mother and Father with
whom I eat breakfast every morning. (Hey, can't pass up a free
meal can I?)
In January of 1996 I decided that I had dreams and
goals that could only be reached by stepping out on my own, so I
left my corporate career and started my own Computer Sales and
Service company specializing in networking and systems integration.
As the internet boom hit, I added Web design services to my resume
and began designing websites for businesses as well. I knew
that being my own boss was the only way to go for me as I was too
motivated to sit back and work for someone else.
Early in 2004 I had an opportunity to acquire some
rental properties which I jumped into head first. In less than 2
years I had over 25 properties, both residential and commercial. In
April of 2006 I began renovating and reselling houses with great
success I continued running my computer business and realized in
late 2006 that my interest in real estate was more than a passing
phase so I decided to pursue my Real Estate Sales license and to
shut down my computer business.
So, here I am today, with experience, drive, and
determination in hand ready to be your Real Estate Agent. When
you look through the Home Book, or talk to people around town,
you'll soon realize that we have no shortage of "Real Estate Agents"
in our area. What makes the difference in whom you choose as your
agent? Part of the difference comes from the three factors I
listed above, but something else to consider is how committed that
agent will be to you and your buying/selling process. For me,
this is not a part-time job. This is not a hobby, or a way to
earn extra spending money. This is my career and how I feed my
family. I'm not looking to get your business, I'm looking to
get your trust. And I know that if I earn your trust, I'll
always have your business.
Give me a call today to find out how I can help
you in any area of the real estate market. Remember, the right move
begins with the right agent!
